ctrlX Configurator-EPLAN Data Portal integration

The web-based ctrlX Configurator from Bosch Rexroth enables easy configuration of complete automation solutions based on the ctrlX AUTOMATION portfolio. With the integration into Bosch Rexroth's digital customer journey the user has access to the complete configuration documentation in the cloud.

For the fast provision of all device data of the configured system topology a web service for EPLAN parts data is seamlessly integrated into the ctrlX Configurator and the EPLAN Data Portal (EDP). All information is requested directly for individual products or the entire configuration project at the touch of a button. On the basis of the specific product type codes, the EPLAN data files are dynamically generated by the web service and are made available to the user as download in the standard EDZ format.

The customer journey in conjunction with the EPLAN Platform ensures the important consistency and re-usage of product data throughout the entire digital design phase in engineering of automation solution.
