Roger Gorlero takes over as managing director in Switzerland
Solutions provider EPLAN is handing over management of its Swiss branches.
Solutions provider EPLAN is handing over management of its Swiss branches to Roger Gorlero, who was appointed to the Management Board on 1 November. The mechanical engineer and consulting expert is responsible for the entirety of the product and consulting business in the German-speaking and French-speaking regions of Switzerland.
Monheim, Germany/Urdorf, Switzerland, 16 December 2019: Solutions provider EPLAN has brought on new management for its Swiss branches. Roger Gorlero is the new person at the helm. “With Mr Gorlero, we’re pleased to have gained an expert with comprehensive knowledge of software, consulting and our core industries,” says EPLAN Managing Director Haluk Menderes about the appointment of the new managing director for the country of Switzerland.
Declared goal: Advancing the company
“I’m excited about the diversity of tasks in a demanding technical environment,” Gorlero says. His goal is advancing companies in Switzerland. Gorlero plans to systematically focus the service portfolio on process optimisation. In addition, there will be a stronger industry focus, with targeted offerings for strengthening the long-term competitiveness of companies in the target industries in Switzerland. Gorlero is the successor to Dagmar Weber, who left the company in spring 2019.
Roger Gorlero previously worked for the Robert Bosch AG in Switzerland, establishing its Building Security Systems division. Before that he worked as an independent management consultant, which included designing, selling and implementing ERP and CRM solutions. Gorlero, aged 59, studied mechanical engineering at the ETH Zurich, is married, has four children and lives in Uerikon/Stäfa, Switzerland.
