Sharing knowledge, establishing contacts with decision makers, finding out about all the new EPLAN solutions? Fairs are the ideal forum for this. EPLAN has now taken the next step and organised the first international online fair as a pilot project. The “EPLAN Virtual Fair” opened its digital doors on 16 February 2016. Potential customers worldwide from Japan to India, from Germany to the UK, from Brazil to the USA visited the digital fair. Monheim, 17 February 2016 – Digitalisation is also continuing in the event sector. The solution provider EPLAN took the next leap in communication with a pilot project virtual fair: on 16 February 2016 the digital doors opened to the “EPLAN Virtual Fair” for customers and potential customers from all over the world. They were invited to obtain information online and were individually supported with 12-hour live operation from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. At the centre was an auditorium where anyone interested could watch various live presentations online. The background to the EPLAN strategy, data portal and the EPLAN Engineering Configuration solution were on the programme alongside three other topic areas. This event was not just a time-saving and efficient knowledge transfer platform for users and managers: top management was also invited to have a direct exchange with the EPLAN management board in real-time using online chat. A lounge also offered visitors the opportunity to establish contacts with each other – a unique opportunity for users from all over the world to interactively share experiences. Two online fair booths on the EPLAN Experience and EPLAN Platform rounded off the virtual in-house fair. Videos were presented here and questions could be asked in a 1:1 chat. Professional EPLAN experts from all product areas answered questions live and provided helpful suggestions.
Great feedback from all over the world
The feedback was outstanding: roughly 500 participants from more than 55 countries all over the world obtained information about current solutions and strategies in a focused and time-saving way. It was of course free to visit the in-house fair. Anyone interested who was not able to visit can watch the fair’s presentations for another four weeks.
